Robert Gooch is a full-time professional stills photographer specialising in Theatre and the performing arts. His work includes rehearsal, publicity, production and promotional images as well as film unit stills and specials.

Robert began full time professional theatre photography in 2003, after an extensive career in lighting design and theatre production management. He has a genuine understanding of the creative and technical processes of theatre production used by directors, producers and their marketing and publicity teams.

Originally shooting on film and developing and printing himself, he now shoots exclusively on digital. His studio lighting experience includes HMI, tungsten, studio strobe and daylight.

Robert's theatre clients include commercial producers, PR and marketing companies, regional producing theatres, fringe / small-scale companies and drama schools. His theatre photographs regularly appear in the national and trade press.
